The session will highlight the actions that Latin American companies are taking to reach net zero while ensuring a just and fair transition. We will explore the engagement of the Latin American region through the Forward Faster initiative and Movement Net Zero Ambition (Brazil) commitments. Business leaders will share successful case studies and discuss ways to integrate the principles of a just transition into their science-based decarbonization plans (SBTi), placing vulnerable populations at the center of the discussion. This synergy will allow us to move towards a climate transformation that is both socially inclusive and equitable.
