Mr. Mitchell New is the Chairman of AIA International and Group General Counsel, responsible for providing leadership to legal and corporate governance functions within Group Office and the country operations.

In his capacity of Chairman of the Group’s ESG Committee, Mr. New is driving and embedding ESG across the world’s largest life and health insurer by playing an active role in the business communities as an investor, insurer and company to advance progress on SDGs in Asia and address material ESG challenges including climate change, access to healthcare, and inequality.
