Kazuto joined Global Compact Network Japan in May 2024 as Chief Planning Manager. Prior to joining GCNJ, he served as a professor in Tsuda University and Osaka University in Japan. He also held positions in the Permanent Mission of Japan to the UN, United Nations Development Programme(UNDP), etc., and worked in Afghanistan, Cambodia and New York. He specializes in international cooperation, peace and security and peacebuilding.
