Yee Chin, Regional General Manager of DTC World Corporation, who together with her dad founded DTC Trading in 2001 as a sole proprietorship. In 2006, they became DTC World Corporation Pte Ltd, delivering merchandise solutions to global brands. 10 years later, in 2016, Yee Chin kickstarted DTC’s sustainability journey, and works with their supplier network of over 200 factories in Asia Pacific, and around 90 employees today in offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and China to embody the group’s sustainability philosophy. DTC was awarded GCNS’ Singapore Apex Corporate Sustainability Award in 2021, and Ecovadis’ Sustainability Leadership Award for Best Performer AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) and achieved EcoVadis Platinum Certification in 2021, placed in the top 1% of organisations rated for their sustainability performance.
