Siti Nurwala currently serves Prasarana Malaysia Berhad at the Sustainability Department where she spearheads the organization's greenhouse gas (GHG) emission management and sustainability disclosures, leveraging her diverse background in construction, research, consultancy, and sustainability strategy.

Driven by a vision for sustainable cities and communities (UN SDG 11), Wala actively champions youth and women's roles in tackling climate change within urban environments, community and infrastructure. Her dedication is evident through her participation in prestigious programs, where the multidimensions of diverse and inclusive sustainable development plays a central role.like the UK Government's ASEAN Sustainable Leadership in Infrastructure Programme (ASLIP 2024) and the Young Southeast Asia Leadership Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellowship Program (PFP) 2024.

Bridging the gap between corporate responsibility and tangible climate action is a core focus for Wala. Her academic background, encompassing an MBA and an MSc in Sustainability Management, equips her with the expertise to bridge this gap. As an ardent global youth volunteer, Wala's commitment extends beyond professional pursuits, actively involved with Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) and at the International Volunteer Cooperation Organisations (IVCO) 2023.

Looking to the future, Wala's participation in the SDG Innovation Accelerator program further demonstrates her dedication to tangible low-carbon impacts within the public transport sector.
