Wynne Boelt, a seasoned communications expert, currently serves as the Head of Communications for the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. He spearheads corporate communications by guiding teams in traditional and social media, content creation, branding and partnerships while engaging the Compact's 60+ Country Networks. He aims to continue leveraging his expertise to raise awareness and drive actionable solutions for some of the world's most pressing challenges.
Before joining the Global Compact in 2022, Wynne worked both within and outside the UN System, including multiple roles with the UN Secretariat, UN Development Programme, and the World Health Organization. Beyond the UN, he has worked on communications for the International Rescue Committee, Malaria No More and Policy Cures Research. He holds an MA in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Bath and a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
