Amita Chaudhury is Group Head of Sustainability for AIA, the largest pan-Asian Life and Health Insurance Group and the Chair of the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative Principles of Sustainable Insurance. As AIA’s Group Head of Sustainability, she is responsible for integrating sustainability into the core of AIA’s business strategy, operations and culture. Amita has 20+ years of experience in working in local, regional, global roles in India, Singapore, London of which last 13 years have been in Sustainability with Unilever (11 years as Global Diversity and Inclusion director and Head of sustainable business for South-East Asia and Australasia) prior to AIA.

In 2018, Amita was recognised by the World Business Council of Sustainable Development as a “Leading Women in Sustainability”. She is on the executive committee for Singapore Sustainable Finance association and on the advisory committee of the Climate Governance Initiative, HK chapter.
