Speaker Bio
Vicky Sins is Head of Programme – Planet at the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), a global non- profit working to drive systemic change through corporate accountability. She leads WBA’s work across climate and nature, using evidence on the world’s most influential companies to accelerate credible corporate transitions and translate ambition into implementation.

A central focus of Vicky’s work is how companies develop and deliver integrated transition plans that address climate, nature and people, and how financial and capital allocation decisions can enable that transition. She works with companies, financial institutions, governments and civil society to turn corporate performance data into insights and action, and is actively involved in international processes focused on transition planning and mobilising finance for the transition.

Since joining WBA in 2019, Vicky has led the organisation’s work on climate mitigation, just transition and adaptation and was responsible for the development and delivery of WBA’s first Nature Benchmark in 2022. She has played a leading role in building multi-stakeholder initiatives
that connect corporate accountability with practical pathways for change.

Before joining WBA, Vicky spent almost 15 years in banking and capital markets, including at ABN AMRO and ABN AMRO Clearing, where she held senior roles working with global energy and commodity clients. Alongside her commercial responsibilities, she led ABN AMRO Clearing’s
corporate social responsibility strategy, using industry dialogue and partnerships to promote greater transparency and more sustainable, safe and orderly capital markets. She was a member of the Investor Working Group of the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative and helped establish the partnership between ABN AMRO Clearing and Frontclear to strengthen capital-market infrastructure in developing economies.
