Maurice Loosschilder is Global Head of Sustainability at Signify and serves on the Board of UN Global Compact Netherlands. He leads Signify's global sustainability and ESG reporting functions and is responsible for shaping and executing the company's Brighter Lives, Better World program, which drives ambitious commitments to enhance positive environmental and social impact. With more than 25 years of experience in the lighting industry, Maurice has held a variety of leadership roles across Philips and Signify. Prior to his current position, he served as Head of Sustainability Strategy and Reporting. Earlier in his career, he led collection and recycling and served on the supervisory boards of four e-waste collection and recycling organizations across Europe. He also held roles in pricing and IT program management. A passionate advocate for sustainable business transformation, Maurice combines deep industry expertise with a strong focus on innovation, circularity, transparency, and long-term value creation. Maurice graduated cum laude from Eindhoven University of Technology and completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Board Company.
