Dr. Toseef Din Chief Executive Officer, M.P. Shah Hospital | Board Member, United Nations Global Compact Network Kenya Dr. Toseef Din is the Chief Executive Officer of M.P. Shah Hospital, one of Kenya's leading not-for-profit tertiary healthcare institutions. With over 24 years of leadership experience across healthcare, finance, education, and organisational transformation, she is recognised for advancing sustainable healthcare, responsible leadership, and patient-centred innovation. Since becoming CEO in 2020, Dr. Din has led the hospital through significant strategic growth, expanding specialised clinical services, accelerating digital transformation, strengthening financial sustainability, and embedding environmental stewardship into organisational strategy. Under her leadership, M.P. Shah Hospital became the first hospital in Africa to receive the Joint Commission International (JCI) Healthcare Sustainability Certification, demonstrating how sustainability can be integrated into high-quality healthcare delivery. A passionate advocate for sustainable development, Dr. Din serves as a Board Member of the United Nations Global Compact Network Kenya, where she works alongside business leaders to advance responsible business practices and accelerate private-sector contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals. She also serves on the Governing Council of the International Hospital Federation and has been appointed to Kenya's Presidential Human Resources for Health Taskforce and the National Steering Committee on Disaster Response. Dr. Din is an ACCA and CPA(K) professional and holds a Master of Science in Financial Management from Heriot-Watt University. She is currently completing a Doctorate in Business and Management at Strathmore University, where her research explores leadership and organisational transformation for sustainable healthcare infrastructure in emerging economies. Her leadership has been recognised through numerous national and international honours, including CEO of the Year (Women on Board Network), Top 50 Most Influential CEOs in Kenya, Top 100 Most Influential Kenyans, Business Executive of the Year, Top 40 Under 40 Africa, and recognition among the 30 Most Inspirational African Muslim Women.
