Enrique Rodríguez Celada is a lawyer in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez. With more than 18 years of experience, his practice focuses on white collar crime. He has taken part in some of the most relevant criminal proceedings in Spain and in the coordination of clients’ legal defences in various jurisdictions.
Enrique is a leading practitioner in the field of compliance in Spain, advising on matters relating to the criminal liability of corporations, implementing and auditing compliance programmes, whistleblowing systems and anticorruption protocols, and conducting internal investigations (including investigations overseen by enforcement authorities from different jurisdictions).
Enrique currently serves as Chairman of the Business Integrity Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce in Spain (ICC España), which aims to promote best practices in compliance in Spain based on international standards developed by the ICC and other international organisations. He is also a member of the COSP Private Sector Platform, launched by the UN Global Compact and UNODC.
He has been an associate lecturer at IE University since 2015, where he lectures on comparative criminal law and international criminal law.
Enrique is also a regular speaker at conferences on compliance-related matters.
