Subhagata Mukherjee (Subho) is Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability at Nokia, where he leads the company's sustainability strategy. His mission is to harness sustainability as a catalyst for business growth, innovation, and long-term value creation.

His work spans climate, circularity, digital inclusion, responsible technology, supply chain resilience, customer co-creation, and strategic partnerships. Under Subho’s leadership, Nokia accelerated its science-based Net Zero target to 2040 and has been recognized among the world's sustainability leaders, including #4 in TIME Magazine's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 and the top-ranked telecommunications company in Corporate Knights' Global 100.

Subho holds degrees in engineering, business, and executive strategy and is an advisor and member of several multilateral private-public partnerships focused on sustainable development.
