Tea Trumbic is the Manager of the Women, Business and the Law project in the World Bank’s Development Economics Vice Presidency. She leads a global team producing data and analysis on how laws, policies, and their implementation affect women’s economic opportunities across 190 economies, with a strong focus on informing World Bank operations, policy dialogue, and reform design. Since joining the World Bank in 2006, she has worked on flagship indicators covering taxation, credit information, agribusiness, trade, and gender. She previously worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia and the International Monetary Fund, and holds degrees in economics from Stanford University and the London School of Economics.
