Caio Eduardo Zanardo is Sustainability and SSQVF Director at Suzano, bringing extensive experience in the forestry-based sector, bioeconomy, and agribusiness. He holds a degree in Forest Engineering from ESALQ/USP, an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and completed advanced executive education in Strategy at IMD Business School in Switzerland.
With over 20 years of experience, he has built a distinguished career with broad expertise across forestry operations, industrial management, and strategic project leadership. Throughout his professional journey, he has held key positions at leading companies such as Fibria and Suzano.
From 2021 to 2025, he served as CEO of Veracel Celulose, where he led impactful initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, people development, sustainability advancement, and strengthening relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
His contributions also extend to institutional leadership. He previously served as President of Florestar São Paulo and currently sits on the Board of the Brazilian Tree Industry (Ibá). In addition, he serves as Vice Chairman of the International Sustainable Forestry Coalition (ISFC), a global coalition of forestry companies dedicated to advancing the bioeconomy and the climate agenda.
