Cecilia Plicco is Senior Director, Shared Value & Sustainability at Chiesi Group, a research-driven pharmaceutical company with over 90 years of history, headquartered in Parma, Italy. She leads the company’s sustainability strategy, working across functions to enhance Chiesi’s social and environmental impact and advance its commitment as a Benefit Corporation and certified B Corp.

Since joining the Shared Value & Sustainability function in 2015, Cecilia has played a key role in embedding sustainability into business strategy and governance. She also contributed to the activities of the Paolo Chiesi Foundation, supporting initiatives to improve access to quality healthcare in neonatology and respiratory care, in low-resource settings. She holds degrees in Economics and Public Administration from Bocconi University and completed international academic experiences at Queen Mary University of London and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.
