As Vice President – Assurance, Joe oversees the worker welfare, HSE (health, safety and environment) and accessibility policies and programmes for Expo City Dubai and its contractors, spanning construction and facilities management to hospitality and retail outlets.
Joe joined Expo City Dubai following on his role as Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Hawk-Eye Innovations, and has also held senior leadership positions at some of the largest events in the world including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Baku 2015 European Games and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.
His expertise lies in leading on health and safety strategy, setting up functions from concept through to operational delivery, establishing critical pathways and recruiting teams to deliver standards globally.
Joe is a recognised HSE chartered practitioner with the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH).
