Dr Daniel Gallagher is Senior Lead, Climate at the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), representing a global network of more than 5,000 institutional investors. He leads PRI's work on climate-related investor practice and helps shape PRI's positions on key climate issues, including transition planning, physical climate risk, adaptation and resilience, and investment in emerging markets. A political economist by training, Daniel works with investors, policymakers and international institutions to address the financial implications of climate change and accelerate capital mobilisation for the transition. He holds a PhD in Climate Change and International Development and regularly speaks at leading international climate and finance forums.
