Aizhan Balabatyrova is Chief Executive Officer of KAZ Minerals Management LLP and a senior executive of KAZ Minerals, one of the world's leading copper producers. With over 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, and business transformation, she has held leadership roles across the mining, chemicals, consumer goods, and consulting sectors.

Prior to joining KAZ Minerals, Aizhan served as Deputy CEO and CFO of Kazphosphate and KazAzot, where she led major investment, financing, digital transformation, and ESG initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked at Ernst & Young, advising leading mining and financial institutions on strategy and operational excellence.

Aizhan holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, and graduated with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She actively contributes to international discussions on sustainable development, responsible business, and economic growth.
