Lakshita is an undergrad senior at the University of Connecticut, pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and Statistics with a minor in Business Fundamentals. She works across software engineering, venture capital analysis, and founded Stylistic, a startup rethinking personal style. She's also UConn's Lead Engineering Peer Advisor, supporting thousands of undergrads.

With AI making it easier than ever to build fast, Lakshita is more interested in building things correctly, asking whether the systems we're creating are genuinely useful, ethical, and sustainable. That's why she's drawn to the intersection of technology and capital: innovation starts in engineering, but where capital flows and how markets are governed is what decides whether that innovation actually reaches people and creates lasting value. As a VC Analyst, she sees firsthand how capital allocation shapes which ideas get built and which don't, and believes markets can be one of the most powerful levers for responsible change when accountability is built in from the start.

She's also passionate about empowering youth leaders, especially women in tech, through daily social content that makes tech and engineering feel approachable. As the youngest panelist at a UN PRME Commission on the Status of Women event, she saw firsthand what it means to actively bring more voices into the room, a perspective she brings to conversations about capital and markets as well.
