Francisca Hernández holds the position of International Business Development in the Commercial Department of ARPA since 2016, with a special focus on International Organisations. Over these years she has successful managed and coordinated projects worldwide and actively worked promoting ARPA on an international stage.
Simultaneously she is part of the team led by ARPA's CEO, Ms. Clara Arpa, in charge of promoting and advocating for sustainability within and outside the company, being the focal point for UN Global Compact and participating in the implementation of strategic initiatives such as Business Ambition for 1.5ºC to set reduction GHGs emissions following the criteria and recommendations set by SBTi. Through her position, she also advocates for the imperative role of private sector, and specially SMEs, to achieve the SGDs.
Prior to join ARPA’s team, Francisca worked in the humanitarian and the international cooperation sector. For more than 16 years, she worked in diverse areas of responsibility for Non-Governmental Organizations, as Médecins Sans Frontières and Oxfam.
Francisca holds a Law Degree from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s in International Humanitarian Aid from the Deusto University, specializing in Geopolitics and International Humanitarian Law at the University of Aix-Marselle III.
