Megan Beauregard is Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Enel North America, Inc., responsible for all of Enel’s legal interests in the United States and Canada, and Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs for all of Enel’s US and Canadian holdings, including Enel Green Power North America, Inc., Enel X North America, Inc., Enel Trading North America, LLC and Enel Finance America, LLC.
Ms. Beauregard joined Enel North America’s legal department in 2008. General Counsel since 2017, she leads Enel North America’s legal department and advises the company on a wide range of legal and business issues, including contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, financings, and dispute resolution. As Secretary of the company, Ms. Beauregard is responsible for all aspects of corporate governance.
Prior to Enel, Ms. Beauregard was an attorney with the law firm Wiggin & Nourie, P.A. Ms. Beauregard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History and International Relations from Boston University, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
With deep New England roots, Ms. Beauregard has been involved with many local charitable organizations over the years. Ms. Beauregard is a strong supporter of organizations which promote the interest of women in STEM and Energy fields, including WRISE, WEN and NIWIEE. Ms. Beauregard has served as Resource Chair for the Association of Corporate Counsel Energy Committee and currently is an appointed member of the Leadership Development Program of the ABA’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources.
