Michael Kaufman is an advisor, educator, and writer who has worked in fifty countries with the United Nations, governments, corporations, unions, schools, and NGOs. His focus is engaging men to promote women’s rights, end gender-based violence, support diversity and inclusion, and positively transform the lives of men. He is the co-founder of the White Ribbon Campaign, the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. He has been named one of the hundred most influential people on gender policies in the world. He is a senior fellow with Equimundo. His most recent non-fiction book is The Time Has Come: Why Men Must Join the Gender Equality Revolution. His latest book is a mystery, The Last Resort, set in Washington DC in 2034. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
