Fernando A. González serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CEMEX since 2014. In his more than 30 years with the company, Fernando has held several senior management positions. Fernando has led several major transformations at CEMEX, including the global implementation of a digital strategy to provide a unique customer experience, as well as the launching of Future in Action, a comprehensive sustainability strategy to address climate change to ultimately become a net-zero CO2 company. He serves in the Board of Directors of Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, Axtel, and TecMilenio University. He earned his BA in Administration and an MBA, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
