Mr. Sanogo is currently the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Madagascar. He is a seasoned development and humanitarian worker with over 25 years of experience, both within and outside the United Nations. He has held senior and professional positions within the World Food Programme in Thailand, Italy, Lebanon, Chad, and Côte d'Ivoire, worked as an economist at the World Bank in Guinea and held government positions in Côte d'Ivoire. Mr. Sanogo holds a PhD in Economics, from the Center for Studies and Research for International Development (CERDI) of the University of Auvergne in France.
