Alice Laugher is the founder and CEO of Committed to Good (CTG), an international organization with over 10,000 staff enabling humanitarian
projects in fragile and conflict affected zones since 2006.

An award-winning leader and passionate advocate for human rights, sustainability, and women’s empowerment, Alice recognises the private sector’s vital role in advancing global sustainability efforts and has spearheaded initiatives such as #FemaleFirst, with a target to fill 30% of all CTG project-related roles with women by 2030, a goal CTG reached in 2022; job-readiness skills training educating hundreds of individuals across Gaza, Somalia and South Sudan; and other shared value initiatives including pioneering a grant providing entrepreneurship training and business incubation to survivors of gender-based violence.

Leading CTG with conviction and compassion, Alice is committed to instilling action oriented values grounded in collective action and innovation across CTG’s 25 countries of operation, most recently embedding the prevention of violence against women into CTG’s mandate with FREE: Female Reform, Empowerment and Ending Violence, a pillar aimed at preventing conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV), exploitation, harassment, and abuse in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

Recipient of extensive awards, Alice’s acknowledgements include being a UNGC SDG Pioneer honouring her unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment in conflict settings and the prestigious Oslo Business for Peace Award in recognition of her “businessworthy” contribution to the building of trust, stability and peace.
