This mainstage session panel formally introduces the South African Business Initiative for Impact (SABII) on the global stage as South Africa’s national anchor of the Global Africa Business Initiative. In this high-energy session, SABII’s architects join pan-African investors, policymakers and UN leaders to get specific on what it takes to bring together the power of business innovation, government policy, and UN expertise to accelerate progress on the country’s most urgent development priorities. The conversation will touch on SABII's four strategic pillars of Digitization for inclusive growth; Energy transition for economic security; Climate-smart agriculture for resilient livelihoods and Human capital development for shared prosperity.

Building on the Main Stage Dialogue, the SABII Leadership Roundtable will convene senior leaders from government, business, investors, development finance institutions and the United Nations to move beyond dialogue towards concrete partnerships, investment pathways and implementation opportunities.

Designed as an invitation-only session, the Roundtable will provide a platform for identifying collaborative initiatives that can accelerate implementation of South Africa's investment priorities while supporting Africa's broader sustainable development agenda. Discussions will focus on translating ideas into partnerships that extend beyond UNGA and contribute to long-term economic transformation.
