Committed to driving marketing’s sustainable transformation, Özlem combines her expertise in marketing strategy, change management, and sustainability to lead impactful initiatives. As part of this commitment, she leads the Sustainable Marketing 2030 initiative—a collaboration between Kantar and the WFA—that equips marketers with the insights and tools necessary to drive industry-wide change toward sustainability. With similar ambitions, Özlem also leads the United Nations Global Compact collaboration, a collaboration between the UN Global Compact, Kantar, and other respected organizations to build the marketing industry’s capacity for sustainable transformation.

Previously, Özlem was a board member of the Kantar Consulting team, where she supported a wide range of initiatives and contributed to the team’s success across continental Europe. As a senior partner in the business, she has guided clients on their transformation journeys and capability-building efforts. Since joining Kantar's Sustainable Transformation Practice, her client-focused services have evolved to translating corporate strategies into marketing strategies and transformation roadmaps, with a strong emphasis on SDG-led and circular economy opportunities. She firmly believes that the circular economy provides the most tangible and impactful path toward achieving a sustainable way of living.

Özlem has also played an instrumental role in Kantar’s internal sustainability capability building, ensuring the company embodies the principles of sustainable growth. Her passion for sustainability extends beyond her current role, having taken shape through advisory board positions with organisations such as Imperial College’s Sustainability Master’s program and the Water Adventure Center in the UK.
