Andrea is responsible for the creation and implementation of the sustainability strategy for Grupo Herdez, which has been aligned with 7 of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Global Compact since 2019. In 2021, Andrea became the first Latin American woman to join the CFO Coalition for the SDGs of the Global Compact, and in September 2023, she was recognized during the UN General Assembly as part of the distinguished group of Global SDG Pioneers 2023 for her dedication and leadership in integrating sustainability into the business model of Grupo Herdez. In February 2024, Andrea joined the Board of Directors of the Global Compact Mexico.
