Since November 2022, the executive has taken the leadership of the global firm with 25 years in the Peruvian market, with the challenge of driving sustained growth in these markets. Vanessa is the first woman to lead the company in Peru after more than two decades of presence in the country. Currently, she holds Peruvian nationality.

Vanessa was born in Venezuela in 1985 and has lived in Peru for 13 years. Since the beginning of her career, she has enjoyed getting involved in various volunteer activities. She currently participates in United Way volunteering.

Vanessa is an electronic engineer and a graduate of the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira. She also holds a master’s degree in International Leadership from EADA Business School and an MBA from Centrum PUCP. She has over 14 years of experience in leadership roles and a long track record at the regional level in commercial management, business development, and channel sales in B2B and B2C market segments applied to industries such as technology, consumer goods, manufacturing, mining, and oil & gas.

Currently, Schneider Electric is responsible for the Presidency of EPEI – Peru, the Trade Association of International Electrical Products Companies in Peru, and Vanessa Moreno is leading this responsibility. Additionally, she is the president of the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact for 2023-2024.
