He is an Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and currently serves as the president of the Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP), Tecmont S.A., and Nova Terra S.A., as well as a board member of Trafopar S.A. and Sky Cop S.A.
His extensive business and industry-related career includes positions such as president of the Paraguayan Petroleum Chamber (CAPADEP), board member of the Paraguayan Advertisers Chamber (CAP), president of the Chamber of Electrical Companies (CECOEL), member of the Council of the Itaipú Industrial Park Foundation (FPTI), coordinator and industry representative for the ARP/UIP Expo Consortium, industry president of the Federation of Production, Industry, and Commerce (FEPRINCO), and member of the Executive Board of the UIP, where he also served as First Vice President.
In the social sphere, he is the founder of Operation Smile, where he served as president until 2018, and founder and current member of the Gabriela Duarte Foundation.
