Lucía is a lawyer with a specialization in Corporate Law from the Universidad Privada Boliviana and holds a master's degree in Sustainability from Jaume I University in Spain. She is certified in Sustainable Business and Responsible Business Leadership by the Swedish Institute and has various specializations and diplomas in key areas such as sustainability, reporting, and human talent management. She is a certified trainer for the ILO's SCORE Program, designed to promote competitive and sustainable businesses.

As the Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network in Bolivia, Lucía leads the strategic expansion of an emerging business network committed to sustainable development. Her focus has been key in creating and consolidating seven working groups that address critical issues such as gender, sustainable finance, governance, and energy transition. Under her leadership, the network has experienced sustained growth, attracting new member companies and strengthening partnerships with international organizations, government, and civil society. Her commitment to sustainability drives strategic initiatives that connect businesses with tangible impact solutions, significantly contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector in Bolivia.
