Prajina KC is the Production Manager at Formation Carpets, a 34-year old social enterprise that exports hand-knotted artisan rugs, and has been a Global Compact member since 2003. Holding a degree in Information Management, she possesses extensive experience in handling the intricacies of sustainable carpet manufacturing, which she has been executing at Formation Carpets since 2018. Her role transcends traditional production management, adopting a sustainable holistic approach that places customer relationships at the core of the company's success, at the same time not compromising on employee welfare as well as environmental hazards.

Additionally, Prajina serves as a board member at GoodWeave Certification Nepal, an organization dedicated to abolishing child labour in Nepal and beyond. She has spoken about best practices in sustainable rug production in panels representing Nepal at the likes of DOMOTEX, the oldest and most famous rug trade fair that occurs in Germany every year. Leading a 100% female team, Prajina continues to spearhead women empowerment, anti-child labour engagements, as well as endeavours that work in line with climate action, all core competencies at the social enterprise that Formation Carpets is.
