Masarrat has more than twenty years of work experience across Asia and Africa for leading international organizations such as the IFC and DFID (UK Government). For the last two years, she has been working with the H&M Group, driving the organization’s work on Sustainability and Public Affairs in the region. She has substantial experience in a broad range of social and environmental sustainability topics. She has designed and implemented programs as well as influenced policies in partnership with leading global organizations such as ILO, IFC, WB, UN GIZ, as well as world class consultants, academics and NGOs. Masarrat has an MBA in finance from Boston University and completed her BA Hons form the University of Toronto in Economics and Political Science
