Ramón Güémez Sarre has a degree in actuarial science from Anahuac University and a master's degree in business administration and finance from McGill University in Canada. 

In the professional field, he has 4 years of experience in the Mexican Central Bank (Banco de México) in the money market area. 

More than 22 years serving in various finance positions at international companies, including GE Capital and Citigroup, assuming direct responsibility in areas of financial planning, Treasury and as CFO. 

In May 2006 he was appointed CFO of SIF ICAP and later joined the management staff of the Mexican Stock Exchange to hold the position of Director of Investor Relations and as of May 2013 Ramón Güémez is CFO of the BMV Group.
