Mr. Fabio Jose Fagundes is the Chief of Financial Products & Services for IDB Invest, member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, in Washington, DC. He is a dual citizen of Brazil and the United Kingdom and has over 30 years’ experience in global financial markets. He worked for the Wholesale Banking units of Banco Real in Brazil and ABN AMRO Bank in the UK with a global reach. Before joining IDB Invest to lead the investment strategy of Blended Finance, DCM & Structured Finance, Equity and Mezzanine, Mobilization and Trade & Supply Chain Finance, he was the Global Head of Trade Asset Mobilization for Santander Group based in Spain. Mr. Fagundes holds an EMBA from TRIUM, an alliance of NYU Stern, LSE and HEC, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC (Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets).
