Christophe joined Schneider Electric in 2011 as Business Unit Procurement VP based in Grenoble, France. He led all Procurement activities for the New Product Introduction and focused on developing innovation with suppliers.
In January 2017, he became the Lead of GSC Europe Procurement: team of 250 procurement specialists, 2B€ spend), responsible for defining and deploying the Europe Procurement strategy. The key focus was to ensure supply & services level to the 60+ plants, driving quality improvements, delivering productivity and reducing cash.
In November 2019, Christophe took the lead of Procurement Digital Strategy. The objective is to build a digitalization framework for Schneider Electric Procurement that enables drastic efficiency gain; equip the procurement teams with augmented capabilities; and accelerates innovation to drive a direct impact on customers and financials.
In November 2020, he took over the newly created Finished Goods Outsourcing Category defining & managing the Strategic Finished Good Outsourcing for Schneider Electric Group.
Since July 2021, he is leading global of Sustainable Procurement, driving the ambitious Procurement ESG agenda for Schneider Electric group, managing amongst other The Zero Carbon project, Decent Work initiatives, Green Materials, Sustainable Packaging.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Christophe started his career in 1992 with Hewlett Packard in the PC division. He has worked in Research & Development as a Design Engineer, then Project Manager. and moved towards procurement functions, managing the transition to outsourcing. He held different leadership positions in Sourcing, Supply Chain and in Commodity Management in both France and California, USA, and spent a considerable amount of his time at suppliers’ sites in the Asia Pacific region.
Christophe Quiquempoix studied electronics at Ecole Polytechnique de Mons (Belgium) and graduated as Electrical Engineer, Telecommunication Master. He is passionate about Procurement, Transformation, Teamwork, & Sustainability. Christophe strives to optimize everything he touches, and what he cares most is contributing to make our world a better place to live.
