Tonthoza Uganja is the Founder of Sustainable Farming Solutions (SFS) in Malawi. With over a decade of experience in sustainable agriculture and forestry, she has dedicated her career to empowering rural communities, particularly women, to restore landscapes and adopt conservation practices that enhance biodiversity and build resilient livelihoods. Tontho holds an MSc in Tropical Forestry from Bangor University and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on monitoring forest landscape restoration interventions for enhanced livelihoods. Her leadership and commitment to sustainability have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Rising Star Regional Award Southern Africa from Women Agripreneurs in Africa (WAYA). Passionate about driving nature-positive solutions, Tontho is committed to creating a balance between environmental conservation and economic growth.
