Amy is a General Manager at Microsoft, leading the Responsible Business Practices team within the Technology for Fundamental Rights organization. She has worked in a variety of legal roles that include policy development, commercial engagements, IP innovation, and compliance, and has developed a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and human rights. She has been instrumental in projects related to information integrity, media literacy, and societal resilience, particularly in the context of elections. Her deep experience in these critical issues strategically positions her to lead a team working to advance Microsoft’s goals to develop technologies that enrich people’s experiences and build trust through Microsoft’s commitment to human rights norms and a responsible value chain that protects and advances fundamental rights.

Amy earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, and her undergraduate degree in history from the University of Michigan.
