Ivan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Gybe, a climate resilience software technology company. Gybe uses satellite imagery and sensors to simplify the laborious process of monitoring water quality, understanding and safeguarding the water we have today.

Before Gybe, Ivan held a range of engineering and management roles helping develop next generation computing, sensor and display technologies with companies like HP, AMD, Intel, Apple, and Samsung.

Ivan's entrepreneurial journey in water was inspired by an extended sabbatical, sailing close to 10,000 miles on a small boat on the Atlantic Ocean with his wife and two young kids. He is driven by his passions, to develop solutions that help people adapt and improve our relationship with the environment. Ivan holds a Physics degree from Whitman College, a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington, and is an author of more than 50 papers and 26 US patents.
