Morten Lauridsen is IFC’s Lead for UN Partners, OECD and WTO based in Geneva, Switzerland. At the same time, Morten Lauridsen is IFC’s Representative for Partnership Engagements with countries in the Nordic region. Morten has a diversified professional experience with 25+ years of experience within international economics, development finance and diplomacy. He has held positions as Principal Economist and Principal Multilateral Engagement Officer at IFC combined with long experience in diplomacy at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with functions as Head of Analytics for International Economics, Special Representative for fragile and conflict-affected states and Director of Americas. Morten is educated from University of Copenhagen (MSc Economics) and the London School of Economics (MSc Politics of the World Economy).
