Governments, business leaders and international organizations around the world have been increasingly focused on the ‘future of work’. Unprecedented changes are impacting the work environment including technological advances, social and demographic shifts, new patterns of globalization, post-pandemic recovery, and climate change. These trends are disrupting traditional models of work and learning, as well as the nature of jobs and the composition of workforces.

The future of work brings both opportunities and risks for gender equality. There is an opportunity to harness the disruption underway to intentionally challenge and transform the structures that perpetuate gender inequality.

On the side-lines of the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the UN Global Compact and Champions of Change Coalition will gather global Chief Executive Officers championing gender equality to reflect on how businesses can guard against exacerbating inequality in the future of work and discuss how the private sector can take advantage of the current disruptions to accelerate progress towards a gender equal future of work, within the STEM industry in specific. This event would not be possible without the support of women-owned businesses.

CEO level. Invitation-only. Invitations are not transferrable.
