As it currently stands, it will take 169 years to close the economic gender gap. We don’t believe in waiting almost two centuries to achieve gender equality. The private sector has a critical role to play and studies show that having more women in positions of leadership – from national parliaments to boardrooms to C-suites – results in more inclusive and sustainable companies and more peaceful, equitable communities.
Shaping an equitable future must also go beyond representation in the workplace. Every leader has the ability to intentionally and systematically advance gender equality through decisions and design processes. Gender equity in all stages of design are foundational to ensure the voices of women in all their diversity are heard and their needs are addressed.
Join us for a thought-provoking 2-hour session where you will have the opportunity to hear from and interact with c-suite panelists working on the frontlines of actively advancing gender equality and equitable design in their organizations, in particular from underrepresented departments at different companies. This will be followed by an engaging workshop providing practical and innovative tools leaders can use to build gender equality into everything they do and deliver.. Participants will leave with new ideas, a systematic approach and concrete steps they can lead on within their companies towards their gender equality goals.
