Description
According to the United Nations, over 1 billion people are living in multidimensional poverty in nearly 110 countries. One key to eradicating poverty is job creation. In this section led by the International Organisation of Employers and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, discussion will focus on the decent work agenda, in line with current debate on the Future of Work, with a focus on technology, climate action and just transition. The session will also be informed by a June CEO meeting with Ambassadors ahead of the Summit of the Future.
