Organized by the United Nations Global Compact in collaboration with 15 Global Compact Country Networks and country offices in the Asia & Oceania region, Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania is a UN Global Compact regional flagship event taking place on 05-06 August 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and hosted by the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei.

As the regional flagship event, Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania aims to convene high-level executives and leaders from the private sector, Government, corporate sustainability and sustainable development practitioners and experts, and Global Compact Country Networks from the Asia & Oceania region to drive business ambition on the Sustainable Development Goals, take stock of the progress made so far in the region, examine existing gaps and highlight scalable solutions that resonate with the region’s unique context.

The event will challenge businesses to move Forward Faster Now and set ambitious targets in key sustainability areas.

The UN Global Compact Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania will take place from Monday, August 5 to Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Asia School of Business, 11, Jalan Dato Onn, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania will be held in-person from Monday, August 5 to Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Asia School of Business, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania programme is two full days of plenary sessions, fireside chats, case study presentations and more. Day-1 of the event will also include a Networking Gala Reception.

All sessions at the Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania will be conducted in English.

Yes, individuals that are not associated with a UN Global Compact Participant organization are welcome to attend the event. 

All media representatives must be accredited through the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei. Representatives interested in attending the UN Global Compact Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania should contact the Office through info@ungcmalaysia.org.

The dress code for the Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania is business-casual attire. Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. 

We will have a variety of meals, snacks and light bites available during breaks along with a Networking Gala Reception on Day-1.

The Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania is the premiere professional development opportunity for UN Global Compact participating companies in the Asia & Oceania region. All high-level and working contact persons of UN Global Compact participant companies are encouraged to attend the event. Non-participants are also welcome to attend under the general admission rate.

If your company is a UN Global Compact Participant, you are eligible for the UN Global Compact pricing. Please search your company name here to determine if your organization is a participant. If your organization is a participant, reach out to your respective Country Network for complimentary registrations. Up to 3 people from a UN Global Compact participant organization will receive the complimentary tickets. Beyond it, regular charges will apply. Early-bird rate runs until 15 June 2024. Regular rates will be in effect until registration closes in 31 July 2024. All rates published are in USD. All payments must be made in USD prior to the event via the registration platform. We kindly request that you cover any transaction fees charged by your financial institution. The UN Global Compact will not be able to issue invoices or accept payment via postal mail for registration fees.

Yes, all attendees must register and submit payment in full via the online registration system. Please be advised that emails and/or letters to the UN Global Compact cannot be processed and will not be considered a substitute for online registration.

Registrants will receive an automatic confirmation email once registration is finalized. For attendees whose registration requires a fee, registration will be confirmed only after payment has been received.

The last day to register for the Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania is 31 July 2024. Registration will sell out. Please secure your tickets early and at the best rates.

Yes, all attendees must secure their own accommodations.

Please ensure you indicate your requirements during the registration process as we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate you without advance notice.

For attendees who require a visa to attend the UN Global Compact Forward Faster Now | Asia & Oceania, the UN Global Compact will provide a letter of support after your registration and payment are processed. Please note that the responsibility for securing the appropriate visa lies with the attendee.

Please indicate that you require a visa to travel to Malaysia during the registration process. Attendees who complete registration and pay in full will then receive a letter of support from the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei via email, which can then be submitted along with other documentation when applying for a visa.

Attendees should refer to their local consulate for detailed information. The UN Global Compact is not responsible for the successful or unsuccessful procurement of visas by international attendees.

The UN Global Compact is unable to assist with any costs associated with travel or accommodations.
