Dilemmas Forum
14:00-16:00 | The Renaissance Times Square Hotel
Across jurisdictions, business leaders face mounting expectations to respond to societal and political issues. The 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer Special Report confirms that societal leadership is now a core function of business. The Risk Coalition urges companies to integrate the oversight of geopolitical risk with ESG programs. In a changing media context, CEOs face public pressure to speak out on often-controversial questions. This timely session brings together a select group of C-suite executives for a candid discussion of complex dilemmas, and the impacts they have on civic space, peace, justice and strong institutions. They will consider the implications for corporate governance, reputation, and strategy. Hosted by the UN Global Compact during the UN General Assembly’s week of high-level debates, the Dilemmas Forum is an invitation-only roundtable held under the Chatham House rule.
