Description
(1) Ending the global addiction to fossil fuels and jumpstarting a ‘renewables revolution’
In this segment, we will discuss key enablers to end fossil fuel pollution: Renewable Energies as a pathway to energy security and stable prices, decarbonization of high-emitting sectors such as cement and transport, and credible corporate action towards Net-Zero through the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
(2) Leaving no person or country behind
Just Transition means leaving no person or country behind. In this segment, we will discuss how companies are taking people-centred climate action towards Net-Zero, and reflect on what is needed to address adaptation and resilience, including access to climate finance.
